Privacy notice

Last updated: 16 October 2026

This notice explains how Back at Five collects and uses your personal data when you register for a lunchtime session, complete the registration survey or book an assessment. It is written to meet the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

Who we are

The data controller is Ken Ochiabuto, trading as Back at Five, 43 Whitney Drive, Stevenage, SG1 4BQ. ICO registration number: ZC255597. Contact: keno@mail.grokbot.com or 07915 088706.

What we collect

Please don't include sensitive personal data, or details about your customers, in survey answers.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

Not ticking the marketing box has no effect on your place at the session.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of service providers to run the service: Google (Forms, Sheets and Calendar) to collect registrations and bookings, Vercel to host this website, and our email provider to send messages. These providers act on our instructions. Some may process data outside the UK; where they do, they rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. We may share the number of attendees with the host venue, but not your survey answers or contact details without your permission.

We do not put your survey answers or contact details into AI tools unless you have agreed to it first.

How long we keep it

Registration and survey data is kept for 24 months after the session, then deleted, unless you become a client. Marketing consent records are kept until you withdraw, plus a short period to show we respected your choice. Client records are kept for 6 years for tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting anything done before. Email keno@mail.grokbot.com and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first.
